Mens
Rea (a.k.a. Andonis
Papachrysanthou) lives
in Heraklion
Creta, Greece. His
surreal digital art presents an occult mixture with
poetry
and lyrics. "Mens
rea" comes from the Latin phrase; "Actus non facit reum
nisi mens sit rea" , translated "An act does not make
a man guilty unless his mind be also guilty". Mens rea roughly
translates as guilty mind.
"Working
with Photoshop and Poser the last three years, I am trying
to get things out of my mind and bring them to life." Currently
37 years old (2005), Mens Rea works as an IT professional.
