Another unplanned work where the imagery surprised me and clambered out of the paint. The original is sold to German collectors. It has subsequently been published on the front cover of the Chilean magazine "Artefacto" and also in full colour on the inside cover of "Angel Circus" magazine, Australia.

The central figure, Thoth was the Egyptian Ibis headed god of, science, writing, culture, technology, and civilization. The Egyptians credited him with bringing civilization to them. To the Greeks, he was Hermes, to the Romans, Mercury.
